First Minister of Scotland, John Swinney, presented the Japanese Ambassador to the UK, Hiroshi Suzuki, with a bottle of The Glover to highlight the positive relationship between Scotland and Japan. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇯🇵

The most recent Glover release is a fusion of Japanese single malt from Chichibu Distillery and Scotch Whisky from Ardnamurchan Distillery.

A wonderful symbol of the ongoing, fruitful collaboration we have with our friends in Japan.

We are delighted to introduce another fabulous Speyside dram! 🥃

The latest Adelphi release brings us an exquisite Glen Elgin from 2011, aged 13 years in a re-fill Oloroso Hogshead and bottled at a bold 58.7% ABV.

Each sip of this cask is pure indulgence. We like it, a lot!

The nose gives us clove studded orange, peach iced tea, strawberry jam, & a whisper of white wine sangria.
 On the palate we have Champagne-esque fizz, white chocolate with cardamom & chili, and salted cashew.
 This Glen Elgin has a long, luscious, and a very smooth finish, leaving you longing for more.

Last but far from least in our latest Adelphi drop: a duo of 2015 Dailuaine PX Hogsheads, each aged 10 years.

🥃🥃🥃
 One for the UK/EU, one for the rest of the world. Why? Because they’re both too good to choose from and to get as much distribution of our whisky out the world as possible.

Expect rich chestnut tones, citrus, spice, honeyed depth, and a finish that keeps calling you back for more.

Islay time! We’ve bottled two incredible first-

Islay time!

We’ve bottled two incredible first-fill Oloroso Sherry casks of Caol Ila 2014 – one for the UK & Europe, the other for the rest of the world.

Why? Because both casks were simply too good not to share!

Both casks have similar notes of rich coffee grounds, salted caramel, macadamia nut, Christmas ham, treacle, and a hint of soy and leaf tobacco.
 Both are smoky, funky, and full of character – with hints of tcp, oily rags, Swedish black liquorice, and savoury meat and cheese platter.

As expected from this well loved Islay distillery, the whisky is waxy with a great mouthfeel and a long finish.

Our next highlight from our most recent release is a Glenlossie from 2011, a rare Speyside gem. This refill Bourbon barrel yielded only 175 bottles at 59.9% ABV.

Vanilla, shortbread, and melon on the nose, gooseberry jam and white pepper on the palate, with a clean, herbaceous finish.

It is luscious. 🥃🥃🥃

An exceptional dram coming up next from our latest release. We have a sherry cask from Inchgower Distillery distilled in 2010.

Matured in a Palo Cortado butt, this Speyside gem, bottled at 57.7% ABV, is a smashing dram with 543 bottles available world wide.

Expect layers of Seville orange marmalade, Brazil nuts, nougat, and Amarena cherry on the nose, with a palate that unfolds into cedar forest, walnut and pine needle, the finishing is dry, intriguing and moreish.

A whisky to savour. 🥃✨

Introducing the next bottling in our latest release:

Ardnamurchan 2014. Cask No. 338. 🤩

A stunning unpeated, ten-year-old, cask was selected by the Ardnamurchan blending team, matured in a first fill Oloroso butt and bottled at 57.1% ABV, this makes for a dram with a rich, oily taste experience. 🥃

This butt yielded a generous 667 bottles to be shared across the world.
Expect rich notes of brown butter, honey-roasted peanut, candied apple, and peach jam on the nose, followed by a strawberries & cream palate with hints of dark chocolate Bounty bar and peanut brittle. A nutty, saline finish ties it all together beautifully. 😍🥃

Well then, it's time to introduce you to the newest members of our clan.

We have had great success collaborating with peated whisky producers around the world from distilleries around the world such as Chichibu, Akkeshi, High Coast, Smögen, and Amrut to name a few.

For this release, Connal visited our friends at St. Kilian in Germany, and we are privileged to be showcasing their renowned distillate in a very pure form.

6 Years Old, heavily peated, matured fully in a single first fill Madeira Cask, and bottled at a cask strength of 58.0% ABV.

This has bags of depth, straddling everything from herring, scallop shells, and seaweed through to birch forest, funky apple cider, and white balsamic vinegar. Deeply spiced, rich, and enticing.

One of only 394 bottles in the world, they are now dispatching from our warehouse as we speak.
