Invergordon 1972
44 Years Old Single Grain Whisky
Light bronze.
Vanilla ice cream (melting), peaches and cream, sugared almonds, Dulce de leche, crème caramel, and a hint of old-fashioned floor polish.
Delicate notes of tinned fruit syrup, green apples.

15 Years Old Barbados Rum
Old oak, copper. Short bead.
Macadamia, hickory, cashew butter, banana angel delight, cake batter, desiccated coconut, dried apricot, wallpaper paste.
Macaroon, old backgammon boards, butterscotch, muscovado, new leather, dried banana chips. Extraordinary.

10 Years Old Islay Single Malt
Mahogany, excellent bead.
Smoked honey-roast ham, open jar of pickled walnuts, Bavarian cheese and TCP.
Cigar ash, smoked cheddar, devils on horseback, very savoury finish.

Mortlach 1986
36 Years Old Speyside Single Malt
Copper, excellent bead.
Green bananas, Grand Marnier, Terry’s Chocolate Orange, Lorne sausage and marmalade, Crunchie bars, butteries, aged Meursault and candle wax. Old furniture polish, cigar leaf, coal smoke.
Cooked apple pie, dulce de leche, sourdough toast with honey, golden syrup, herbs, spices and demerara sugar. Sensational balance and long finish.

12 Years Old Islay Single Malt
Leather, mahogany. Very good bead.
Parmesan, Arbroath smokies, wet bung-cloth, hessian, Cherry Ripe, Curly Wurly, Fruit ‘n’ Nut, Seville orange, Irn Bru.
Medicinal, rubber, engine oil, filling-station forecourt, petrichor, tarry rope, menthol, redcurrant, rowan berries.
Finish – medium, Fisherman’s Friends.

Breath of the Highlands 2009
12 Years Old Highland Single Malt
Leather, mahogany. Very good bead.
Allspice, Pimento Dram, Gammel Dansk, eucalyptus, liquorice, bitter dark chocolate, Angostura bitters, Riesen toffee, redcurrant.
Camp Coffee, espresso martini, burnt toffee, pine resin, madeira cake.
Finish – medium, dry, rich.

13 Years Old Speyside Single Malt
Refill ex-Bourbon hogshead.
Full gold, average bead.
Fino sherry, smoked manuka honey, peaches, pears and lemon drizzle cake.
Mouth cooling, Edinburgh Rock, raspberry ripple ice-cream, drying in the finish.

11 Years Old Speyside Single Malt
Refill ex-Bourbon hogshead.
Pale gold with a good bead.
Oily and meaty: cold ham, charcuterie with cloves, star anise and cinnamon. Dusty spice drawer, mulled wine.
Taste is similar to nose, well balanced, spices on finish.

Pale gold with an excellent bead.
Custard creams, citrus cordial, fruit salad, lemon curd and icing sugar.
Sweet, creamy texture with milk chocolate, hazelnuts and blueberries.
